I had the misfortune to previously experience a different company to install a new loft hatch, and the guy put in a type that was too difficult for me to open as I am disabled. Grant visited me and recommended a replacement that is easy to operate. He also very kindly costed the job at a discounted price. When Spence arrived to do the work he was on time, very polite, friendly and altogether a very nice person. He did a great job fitting the loft hatch, and even put right the faults caused by the previous installer, such as making good areas that needed some paint re-applying. Spence showed me how the open/close mechanism worked, and then cleared up very well leaving no mess at all. He let himself in, kept me updated with any small queries and, when he had finished, locked up the house and left the key where he had found it. Val was on time both to give me a quote and to instal my loft hatch. He was highly considerate and careful in my house, taking care to remove his shoes on my plain carpet and not to knock anything with his ladder. He fully cleared up once the hatch was installed. As well as being technically proficient, he communicated with me clearly and well, and was kind and thoughtful. Gareth (the surveyor) and the fitters did a great job. The loft space was very complex with a lot of pipework in the way – but the guys found a way of installing boarding as requested. The fitter also installed insulation in an area with very poor access that other companies didn’t want to quote for. Highly recommended.

Peter & his technical specialist immediately understood what type of roof my property has, and what work we should/shouldn’t have done. Due to the great advice we avoided blocking off airflow (& therefore creating condensation issues in future) and also potentially effecting the structural stability of our roof space. This advice was invaluable, and his honesty and care for his customers is refreshing. Other loft installers would’ve just gone ahead and put the boarding in/widened the access hatch resulting in serious problems in the future. Peter did a fantastic job boarding up our garage loft instead! Thoroughly recommend.
