I approached three companies about having a ladder installed into our attic space. One
company only wanted cash, one didn’t even bother to reply to my e-mails and Access4Lofts
were by far the most professional and attentive. The ‘phone was answered by a professional
and friendly receptionist and I was able to make an appointment for a quotation the very next
day. The representative that turned up the next day was thorough, friendly, professional and
very knowledgeable. We talked about the options available to us and between us, we chose a
ladder and installation process that was right for the attic. The representative offered lots of
options, such as having additional insulation installed and not once did I feel pressured or
coerced into making a decision I was not happy with. There was no hard sell and I was left with
the option of contacting the company if I was happy with the quotation when it arrived.
The quotation arrived the next day and was clear and informative. There were options
available, detailing the different format of flooring available to me. I found the quotation to
reflect good value for money and decided to go ahead with one of the options available to me.
I e-mailed the company and ended up speaking to another member of staff in the office and we
arranged to have installation the very next day. Imagine my delight when I discovered that the
owner of the company had decided that the work should go ahead free of charge! When I
contacted the company to see what they meant by this, I was informed that the owner had
heard about the work we do at this service, (supported housing for adults with mental health
conditions) and as a gesture of good will had decided to waive all the costs. As we are a charity
and budgets are always very tight, this was an amazing act of kindness and now means that
the money allocated for the attic can be spent on treating the people we support to something
nice instead. When the attic was installed the workmen were polite and courteous, explained the process to me clearly, (and informed me that rather than put dust sheets down, which could be a trip hazard, they would clear up properly afterwards). The quality of the workmanship was fantastic and they showed me how to operate the ladder and gave me an information booklet.
I would not fail to recommend Access4Lofts! They are an amazing company and I am 100% delighted with everything they have done. A very big thank you and I would definitely use them again.
