I contacted Access4Lofts to explore the possibility of installing a loft ladder in our garage – the house being a dormer bungalow, the loft space above the garage was the only possibility, and we desperately needed the additional storage space. Alan arrived promptly, surveyed the space and explained in detail the different approaches he might take. He recommended a particular layout which would maximise the usable space in the loft – a wooden folding ladder attached to the hatch into the loft, which would need to be extended. He arrived promptly at the day and time agreed, and had completed the work in an hour and a half. The ladder system worked like a dream. We now have a clean, dry storage space to which we have safe access via a sturdy ladder with wide treads. – an important consideration as my wife and I are in our late seventies. To sum up: I would have no hesitation in recommending Alan O’Connor of Access4lofts. He was courteous and pleasant, as was his colleague, he explained everything clearly, and finished the work to a very high standard.
