Bethan arrived on time. He protected the stair carpet to avoid damage/staining. He worked continuously until the loft was completed. Everything was finished by late afternoon all on the same day. He gave us a tour of the area, showed what he had installed, gave us tips to make the area more productive including tips on saving money with things that we could fix very cheaply. He also used his own cleaning products including a hoover to make sure the area he had left was spotless. Two of our children decided to move home to save money so the boarding of the loft was a necessity to store their belongings. It’s so easy to move about the area and we know exactly where everything is. I would definitely recommend this company.

Peter was really lovely, arrived right on time and carried out everything offered in the quote cheerfully. He had to repoint one side of the frame and did this as part of the service, which he explained. The hall is revolutionised, because what was a gappy, heat-losing and unsafe hatch (broken latch, extremely heavy door, narrow and thin ladder that slid left to right & was impossible to get a firm-footing on) is now a flush-fitted, insulated, securely lockable door (which was hand-cut to fit on site) and sturdy telescopic ladder, that although lightweight is really not going anywhere. It’s wide and has deep steps your feet don’t pivot on. Also, the sides are round and chunky, so good to grip. I searched for a really stable, safe ladder - this is it. When I saw the photos online with hand-fitted door & chunky ladder I thought it would be more expensive than others I was looking at, but it was actually cheaper. It comes with a lifetime guarantee because of the company’s good working relationship with their suppliers, which is amazing. The door is light-weight, seals on closing and is insulated by a silver material which has earned it the name ‘The Mork & Mindy Hatch’. Peter didn’t leave any dust and completed the job within 2hrs10mins, he demonstrated how everything worked and gave me a booklet just to make sure. I’m very glad my heat isn’t going up into the loft, my hallway is presentable and although not a grade two listed building, the whole look has been uplifted/tidied up. Many thanks

Second time we’ve used access4lofts after we were impressed with service first time around. We wanted to put our boiler in the small loft void, we have a double apex roof with the other apex boarded. access for lofts were Very conscientious, very polite. The loft in the small apex had no loft access, so we were unaware of what was up there and the true height of the void. The boiler would not fit in the void with enough room for access and repair. The fitters gave me options on what could be done from plastering the hole back up to continuing with the fit, a call to my plumber and we decided to continue as it would be required for access to reroute the pipes for the boiler. Work was completed on time, no mess, no fuss, very happy.
