I responded to Nick’s advert in a local newsletter. I received a quick response and Nick came to
survey the job and provided an immediate quote, which was clearly set out and gave excellent
detail of the cost breakdown – the best I’ve ever seen. This wasn’t a cheap job but having talked
to Nick about the way he would do the job, and studied the written quote I was happy to
proceed. On the day, he and his colleague arrived promptly, were courteous and careful,
covering the hall / stairs carpet before starting work. The job was completed by lunchtime, in
which time he’d installed a new loft hatch cover, telescopic loft ladder (necessary as there isn’t
enough room for a sliding type of ladder), additional timber joists, and 10 sq metres of
boarding, with additional insulation. I am pleased with the work and am pleased to recommend
