Jonathan was very professional, friendly and courteous throughout the process – from his initial visit to look at the job to actually undertaking the work. An incredibly tidy worker and very respectful of our house and belongings. Our house is over 100 years old and the loft was a chaotic mess of historic bits of board, insulation, old wasps nests and tons of spiders webs. Nothing was straight. The new hatch was from our main bedroom and we were quite worried about the potential mess. We needn’t have worried at all. Jonathan covered everything through the house carefully with dust sheets and cut the hole with almost no mess. He cleared up after day 1 too, so we could use the bedroom overnight. He finished boarding the loft and installing the ladder by lunchtime next day. The boards are clean, even, solid and sound. He even vacced all the spidery bits away (phew) and installed a light. So after only 1.5 days we now have a fantastic, instantly accessible and useable storage space with no mess during or after the work. Jonathan’s not only excellent at his job but is basically a really nice bloke, to the point where he didn’t even complain when he had to endure oatmilk in all his teas and coffees. We’d recommend him without hesitation.
