Our old loft ladder was not suitablle for an elderly person to safely use and we wanted a
replacement. Glen visited and advised us on the type of loft ladder a suitable fit for our loft,
keeping in mind that a roof joist above the loft opening limited the type of ladder that could be
installed. We wanted a ladder that is easy to lower and put back in place, with a reasonable
width and not heavy for an elderly person to use. Glen advised us on a suitable ladder. The
existing loft opening had to be made larger which Glen did competently and fitted wood trim in
the ceiling around the opening to leave it looking good. Glen put in almost a full day’s work and
we are pleased with the outcome
