Both my wife and I are delighted with our new loft hatch and ladder, it exceeds our expectations. It makes accessing the loft much easier, with no balancing on steps and hoping for the best, feet dangling akimbo while climbing in. We opted for wooden steps, wider treads feel safer, they also feel warmer than the metal ones and don't creak. Our personal choice will be to give the ladder a coat of Osmo Oil to ensure the longevity of the ladder, even though there is a lifetime guarantee covering the work. Altogether a very positive experience.

Grant and his assistant Craig fitted Loft Boarding in our two lofts. They then tidied up the existing insulation, then to finish topped it up to the required level. Our lofts were not the easiest places to work in and the job overran by a day but the price Grant quoted us prior to the work remained the same which I thought was very fair. From the moment they came in to our house, laying dust sheets as they went, they were highly professional and courteous. Tidy...they even hoovered the cobbles outside where they had been cutting boards and timber. Viewing the lofts on completion we were very happy with the work they had done and we would not hesitate to recommend Grant for any loft work. Rather him than me!!

I needed the loft hatch moving, a ladder installing and partial boarding of the loft floor. I think the Velux window in the loft helped, which they kept open which gave them some breeze, while they completely boarded my loft, plus I kept them hydrated with plenty of water and ice. After being twice refused the work to install a loft ladder and boarding by a different company it was all sorted after calling Grant at Access 4 lofts. He stated that he has never declined a job and he was true to his word. Because of the age of our house, there are wooden beams in the ceiling. Grant managed to match the wood and blend the hatch in with the style of the ceiling. Looks great, and the boarding is neat. Really appreciate the time and effort that was put into the job.
