Mike Pitchforth, St Annes – Loft Insulation

We have an Edwardian house in which the loft had been boxed into a room (probably in the mid
20th century). We never used the room and the existing loft insulation was ineffective (what
there was of it). We asked Access4Lofts if they could remove the room (walls, flooring etc) and
the ineffective insulation and then install 400mm of new insulation throughout. We received a
pre-visit to assess the job and quote a price (which was very competitive).
Once the job started, the two workers arrived on time both days and did exactly what was
required. They were professional in how they treated the house (for example dust sheets on
carpets etc) and despite removing a great deal of old wood and insulation, they were careful in
how they carried it, taking care not to damage any part of the house. At the end of the job they
cleaned up meticulously and then showed us the new insulation (which had been installed
perfectly). Payment was requested once the job had been completed, with no upfront costs or
changes to the quoted amount. We would absolutely recommend Access4Lofts to anyone
looking to have work done.
