After having Mark install my loft ladder I decided to have my loft boarded... I can honestly say that when I first saw my loft post install.. I didn’t recognise it.. gable to gable boarding so much room.. all cleaned and tidy. We received excellent service from Mark. He came on time to assess the job and was very clear about what could (and could not) be done and why. He saved us money overall by recommending that we upgrade our insulation before flooring the loft and also by suggesting a very cost-effective way of improving ventilation in the loft (an issue highlighted by our surveyor). On the day of installation Mark and his assistant arrived exactly on time and worked consistently and thoroughly, were very considerate at all times and surprisingly quiet! The whole job was completed by early afternoon. They tidied up after themselves and then Mark demonstrated how our new loft ladder worked. We are extremely pleased with the finished job and would have no hesitation in recommending Mark to anyone loft work done in the Doncaster area.

When receiving the initial quote for having the loft boarded and detailing a moisture issue we've been having, we were given genuine advice on a low cost approach to solve the issue, rather than a drastic approach we were worried would be needed. Product knowledge was excellent, explaining to us when asked why and how our moisture issue could be resolved. Queries we had regarding the initial quote were responded to quickly, and when we had changes to our circumstances that required a revision of the initial quote, this was again handled quickly but with helpful information of how we could make the most of our circumstances. I appreciated the transparency and clarity of the phone conversations and quotes being confirmed by follow up emails, and the text reminder on the day before the installation date gave reassurance. On the installation date itself, Mark arrived exactly on time, lay dust sheets down and worked very efficiently. Cleaned up after himself fully. Job done. Couldn't have gone any smoother. We have immediately put the new loft space to use and have no complaints. Thank you.

I was very surprised at how quick the job was completed. The installer was also not hesitant to tell me when he thought something was not necessary when I asked for his opinion, so I did not feel like I was being upsold on anything. David installed new boarding in my loft, a new ladder and replaced the existing hatch. Initial contact - I spoke to David on the phone to explain my requirements and the current state of my loft. David gave an honest appraisal and proposed a couple of solutions for me to consider without trying to sell me any additional "extras" that I did not want. Great first impression. Quotation - David arrived as agreed, surveyed the loft and provided me with a well costed, reasonable quote for me to consider. Again, there was no attempt to sell me extras that he knew I didn't want and that other companies had tried to sell to me. I felt that he was being honest with me which is one of the main considerations I have when employing a trader. Fitting - All of the work was fitted as agreed and in the time scale agreed. In my opinion, he has completed a thoroughly professional job throughout and exactly what I wanted. He laid dust sheets throughout the house ensuring no mess and cleared to initial state each day before he left. David also gave me a full demonstration and explanation of how the ladder/hatch should be safely operated. Price - The price invoiced was exactly the price quoted. Summary - Really pleased with David from start to finish, helpful, honest, professional, polite and punctual at all times. A quality installation at a fair price.
